Phi Theta Kappa Organizes Angel Trees

Phi Theta Kappa, the honors society at GHC, organized Angel Trees at Floyd and Cartersville campuses to collect gifts for children who might not otherwise have presents at Christmas.  In Rome, students collected gifts for children ranging from toddlers to teenagers.

In Cartersville, PTK formed teams to get each child a variety of presents, including clothing, toys, bicycles and more.  The Cartersville tree had 120 angel tags – and not one was left on the tree.  Rome also collected about 100 gifts.

The generosity of GHC’s faculty and staff is clear every year, and clearly reflects a personal and institutional philosophy of giving.
