Old Red Kimono is the student-edited arts and literature magazine at Georgia Highlands College. Funded through the Office of Student Life, the magazine accepts submissions from all students, faculty, and staff, as well as publishing some submissions from outside of the college community. Students from all campuses are encouraged to submit to the magazine, as are members of the community at large.
Student editors as selected each year to work for the magazine, under the guidance of magazine advisors Dr. Nancy Applegate and Professor Jesse Bishop. The spring of 2011 will mark the 40th volume of Old Red Kimono, with a release party in April. Copies of the current issue are available at each campus, and back issues may be ordered by contacting either Dr. Applegate or Prof. Bishop through the ORK website: www2.highlands.edu/ork.
