Marietta Students Help at EnAble GA
GHC Marietta Students Participate in MLK Day of Service
On Martin Luther King Day, students from the Marietta campus worked at EnAble of Georgia in Roswell, a care center founded in 1979 by parents of developmentally disabled adult children. The parents wanted a nurturing and engaging atmosphere for their children. The center provides day and employment services so that individuals can become part of their broader communities. It also offers services to those who live at home with their families or on their own in the community. Either way, specialists help them learn skills to enhance independence.
GHC students spruced up the grounds around the Roswell facility on MLK Day, Monday, Jan. 24.
