How To Register For Classes
Returning GHC students are strongly encouraged to register early for the upcoming semester. Students who participate in early registration have better course selection options, resulting in the best suited schedule. Below is a helpful guide to GHC's Registration Process.
There are several Advising resources available to All GHC students:
- Early Bird Advising is an event spring and fall semesters where students meet with faculty advisors to do long term academic planning.
- Campus Advisors are available on all GHC sites for year round advising. Appointments are encouraged but not required.
- SCOREcard is a tool in a student's SCORE account that will help guide them in their specific pathway while at GHC.
Creating a Schedule:
Once advising is completed, students can create a course schedule for the upcoming semester. Course Offerings is located on the Current Students tab and can be viewed by everyone. Click here for a helpful guide on how to look up classes.
Check Your Holds:
Some students have registration holds that may cause delay or prevent the course registration process. Click here to understand your registration holds.
Registering for classes:
Students without holds on their account, can register for course via their SCORE account (Student Services > Registration > Add/drop Classes > Enter CRN numbers > Submit).
Students with holds, must register with a Professional Advisor, Enrollment Management Specialist or Admissions Counselor.
